Rob Fuller
I have developed and implemented several successful programmes into local schools including the Mentor Mate project which is still running to date at Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College.
Having previously joined the board of Trustee’s as the Health and Wellbeing Manager for NHS Hull, I am now self employed having set up my own company, Twist Solutions Ltd (www.abouttwist.co.uk).
Twist Solutions provides effective solutions for Health, Education and Sport. We are engagement specialists and provide opportunities to enhance educational attainment and experiences, improve and understand more about health and create participation into sport, in particular community sport.
My passion for community engagement and development stems from my time as a Senior Community Development officer for the Hull Kingston Rovers Education and Sport Trust. During my time in this role I was responsible for developing relationships with partners including schools, local authority and our local Primary Care Trust (NHS Hull).
I have developed and implemented several successful programmes into local schools including the Mentor Mate project which is still running to date at Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College. I have also been responsible for creating the East Hull Sports Strategy alongside The Rt Hon John Prescott MP which was launched in March 2009 by the Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP.
Through my organisation Twist Solutions, we have recently completed the ‘Pride of East Hull Games 2011’ which saw pupils from East Hull secondary schools engage in an Olympic themed competition which not only saw them improve their sporting ability, they also became more independent and competent ‘leaders’ through the delivery of the Level 1 Sports Leaders Course.
Away from work I enjoy anything relaxing aside from my obsession with exercise and running a business!
