Kevin J. Lister
I have worked at Andrew Marvell College since 2005, in the first instance as Deputy Head and in April 2011 was appointed as the Head. Andrew Marvell College is a vibrant educational establishment and continues to go from strength to strength in achieving record examination results over the past 5 years.
I have been a governor at Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College, originally as a parent governor and, as my sons left the school, I was appointed as an LEA governor.
I am deputy dean in the Business School at the University of Hull, and I have worked in further and higher education for more than 20 years. I have taught all ages (from 7 to 80 +) and different subjects in both colleges and universities.
As representative at AMBEC from the Co-operative Group I am looking to help foster the co-operative difference at the school through my experience, skills and belief in the co-operative values and principles.
I am very proud of my work with the local community which has been a passion of mine for most of my life. I am dedicated to helping others reach for their goals.
I have developed and implemented several successful programmes into local schools including the Mentor Mate project which is still running to date at Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College.
