Vivo miles is an effortless reward system that actively supports a positive behaviour policy and “Every Child Matters”.
It is an award-winning rewards platform for schools, allowing teachers to award students electronic points called “Vivos”, redeemable on a wide selection of rewards from a customisable catalogue. Designed by schools for schools it is now used in 80 Local authorities, and has proven its ability to improve student motivation as well as raise attendance and GCSE grades.
Vivo is designed in such a way that it looks and feels to students a lot like their first bank account. With the currency being the’ Vivo’ and good old fashioned hard work being the way to earn ‘Vivos’ it presents a unique opportunity to teach some important personal finance lessons. Saving up for something over a longer term and budgeting and managing an account are all covered by the Vivo system.
The Vivo Miles shop offers students the chance to redeem their hard-earned Vivos on a range of approved goods such as Phone top up cards, clothes shop vouchers, mobile phone charms, Ipod’s and many more gifts. Vivo Miles also gives students an alternative opportunity and allows them to donate their Vivos to charities of their choice.
The system also has a Parental Engagement Platform that has been designed to positively "engage and inform" parents. Parents/guardians can create their own personal Vivo account and view information relating to their child’s rewards. Parents/guardians have the option to receive updates by email and can access their account whenever they have access to an internet enabled PC.
Students and parents can check their Vivo balance by logging on to their account through the www.vivomiles.com website. Vivos can also be awarded for taking part in activities and used towards school trips and attendance at the prom in year 11.
