Uniform Shop 2011/12

With the end of the summer term close upon us, it is time to start thinking about school uniform for the new academic year in September.

How to Order

To purchase school uniform, an order form must first be completed and returned to the Finance Office at the college. You will be contacted when it is ready to collect so please ensure your contact details are on the completed order form.

Payment is to be made on collection of the order, and can be made by cash or cheque with all cheques made payable to Andrew Marvell College.

Samples will be available at the college reception but unfortunately uniform cannot be purchased directly from the college reception.

Ordering before September

If you require new uniform for September can you please complete an order form and return to the college by Wednesday 6th July to enable your order to be ready before the end of term.

Tuesdays 8.30am - 12.00pm
Thursdays 1.30pm - 4.00pm

College Uniform

  • College V neck Sweatshirt with College Logo *
  • Yrs 7 + 8 – Grey
  • Yrs 9 – 11 – Black
  • White school shirt/blouse (Long sleeved in winter, short sleeved in summer) which buttons up to the neck
  • College tie*
  • Black school trousers or Black school skirt (must be knee length)
  • Plain Black Shoes (no logos or colours)

Please note that sandshoes, trainers, trainer type shoes & boots are NOT permitted.

Items marked with a ‘*’ are only available from the College and can be purchased at reception.

PE Kit

  • Plain White T-shirt or Plain T-shirt or Polo Shirt
  • Black, blue or white shorts
  • Trainers
  • Tracksuit for inclement weather conditions

The following are NOT allowed at all in the College:

  • Shorts or cut down or short legged trousers
  • ‘Fashion’ skirts
  • Skirts of an indecent length
  • Jeans, leggings, black denim like trousers, tracksuits, leather, imitation denim or leather fashion Trousers or leisure trousers with patterns, or sewn on metal or plastic trim
  • Low waisted hipster or bare midriff trousers
  • ‘Fashion’ trousers or any trousers which are too long and overhang shoes or drag on the ground.
  • Clothing which is far too small to wear
  • Coloured, studded, chain or fashion trouser belts or other accessories.
  • High heeled fashion shoes/boots, trainers and sandshoes.
  • Sweat bands
  • Top coats must be suitable for weather conditions
  • Any item deemed to be inappropriate by the College
