Working today for a prosperous tomorrow
We are working to produce citizens of tomorrow who are equipped with excellent creative and technological skills with inclusion and equal opportunities for all. This investment in our people helps us develop a risk-taking culture to promote innovative and confident learners.
We Get Involved
Throughout the year events are organised to keep students engaged and interested, taking them to places they wouldn’t normally go and to see things that they wouldn’t usually see.
Some activities include:
- Young Enterprise
- Arts Week
- Big (Deep) Learning Days
- Enterprise Week
- Educational Visits
- Rock Challenge
Students study a wide and varied curriculum, which prepares them well for Year 9 options and beyond.
See inside the Prospectus for the options.
BELONGING to feel a part of the school
ASPIRATION to be the best you can be
SAFETY to learn you must feel secure
IDENTITY to gain recognition as individuals
CHALLENGE to make progress
SUCCESS to be satisfied that they are improving and can achieve
We firmly believe that the sooner students see what the world of work is like, they become more focused and seemingly grow up in front of our eyes.
We have made important links with many varied, trusted local companies who support us in our work experience programme.
We ensure our students have the opportunity to work with people from a range of different backgrounds.Students at Andrew Marvell have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities in addition to the curriculum.
Nothing gives us more pleasure than to see our students succeed and go on to bigger and better things.
