Year 8 Hull Schools Rounders Tournament Tuesday 12th June at St Marys

We took a team of lovely, well-behaved year 8 pupils to St Marys to take part in this event. They had not trained as a team, and only done 3 rounders lessons already this year in PE, so were quite in-experienced. However, during our matches they showed great progress throughout and played fantastically as a team fielding and scored some cracking rounders as well!

We played Malet Lambert 1, St Marys 2 and Malet Lambert 3, all these results were very close but we lost after 15 good balls each. We also played Newland and Archbishop and managed to win these games, which was excellent!

Well done to all the girls involved- special mention to Courtney Meakes who was a great bowler and Ioana Onofrei who hit some fantastic balls!
