Miss Fothergill, one of our Maths Teachers, took 5 Year 9 boys to HETA headquarters to the final of a competition that involved them building a remote control car to race around a track. There were lots of things involved including the fastest time, cost, team work and communication.

They boys were:

• Joe Graham
• Kane Rosenquest

They were an absolute credit to school and they came first! So please if you see them congratulate them as they beat 3 other schools Malet Lambert, Sirius and Hull Trinity.

They were awarded a medal each and they will have the trophy for a year after it has been engraved.
