At Andrew Marvell we work hard with our Partner Primary Schools to establish good working relationships with them to enable the transition of the students from Primary to Secondary School as smooth as possible.

We try to enage the students through regular contact and activities organised by our staff, working in collaboration with the Primary Schools. 

Our focus for the coming year is the Olympic Games 2012.

In addition, over the coming half terms we are also focusing on Raising Boys Achievement and running competitions to try to engage boys in reading and story writing.

Examples of some of the activies include:

• Community Farm visits
• Tailor made activities at the Primary Schools request
• Staff CPD
• Past student visits and participation
